Season Pass and Payment Plan Questions

Valleyfair is introducing the All Park Passport add-on for the 2024 season, available for purchase with a Gold Pass. This add-on allows the Gold Pass to be used for entry at all Cedar Fair parks. With the introduction of the All Park Passport add-on, Platinum passes will not be offered in the 2024 season.

No, the Silver Pass is valid from park opening through the end of summer and provides admission to daytime fall events through Sunday, October 27, 2024. The Silver Pass does not provide admission to ValleyScare. The Gold Pass provides guests unlimited visits throughout the summer and fall, including ValleyScare.

It's easy and all online! To activate your Season Pass, please visit valleyfair.com/activate. You can also upload your pass to the Valleyfair mobile app by entering the barcode. No card is needed.

Unfortunately once an order is processed, another pass cannot be added at a later date. Please ensure you purchase the appropriate number of passes with your transaction. Each order will be subject to the current pricing.

Guests may purchase their Season Passes through our Easy Pay Plan. This plan allows guests to divide their purchases into payments that are automatically withdrawn from the credit card on file. The processing fee will apply to the first payment only. You can continue to use your Season Pass even if not all payments are made, however, if one payment does not go through the passes will become deactivated.

You can purchase All Season Dining or Drink Plans, as well as All Season Fast Lane at a later date either online or at our Admissions Building. Please note that add-ons can only be part of an Easy Pay payment plan if purchased at the same time as your Season Pass. They are not able to be added to an Easy Payment plan after a Season Pass has been purchased, and the full price will be charged at the time of purchase. Pricing is also subject to change and increases as the year progresses

If you purchased Season Passes using our Easy Pay plan, you can update your credit card information by going to www.valleyfair.com/payments. Please provide your confirmation number and the e-mail address used to make the purchase.

Yes, you may purchase a Gold All Park Passport All Season Dining Plan that is valid at all Cedar Fair parks. This is equivalent to the 2023 Platinum Pass All Season Dining Plan.

2024 All Season Dining Plans are valid any public operating day during the entire 2024 season.

Season Pass cards are no longer required and instead can be stored on your phone via the Valleyfair mobile app. If you still have questions about your Season Pass please contact our Guest Services team.

Valleyfair does not issue refunds or exchanges on Season Passes or Season Pass Add-ons. All the preceding products are non-refundable and non-exchangeable for any reason after the order transaction has been completed at the front gate, online, on the Valleyfair mobile app, or other authorized ticket seller.

All Park Passport Questions

The All Park Passport is a premium add-on that allows a Gold Pass admission to other Cedar Fair parks. With the introduction of the All Park Passport add-on, the Platinum Pass will not be offered for the 2024 season.

The All Park Passport add-on can only purchased with a 2024 Gold Pass. It is not eligible for purchase with a 2024 Silver Pass.

Yes, a 2024 Gold Pass with the All Park Passport add-on can be used for entry to other Cedar Fair parks in 2024.

The All Park Passport add-on can be purchased using EZ Pay if purchased with a Gold Pass. It is not eligible for EZ Pay if purchased separately from the Gold Pass.

Yes, 2023 Platinum Passholders are eligible for renewal pricing. When purchasing your 2024 pass, select the renewal option for the 2024 Gold Pass in the purchase flow and enter the pass number for your 2023 Platinum Pass when prompted.

Yes, you can add the All Park Passport add-on to your existing 2024 Gold Pass by logging into your season pass account and selecting “Manage Passes.” Click the arrow under the pass to which you would like to add the All Park Passport add-on, scroll down, and click “Learn More” under All Park Passport within the Season Pass Add-Ons section. Follow the steps on the following screen to purchase and add to your pass.

Yes, your Gold benefits can be used at other Cedar Fair parks with the purchase of the All Park Passport add-on. Benefits may vary by park, contact the park you are planning to visit for questions regarding applicable benefits.

Yes, the 2024 Gold + All Park Passport All Season Dining plan is the most comparable to the 2023 Platinum All Season Dining plan.

Valleyfair does not offer a non-rider discount. Valleyfair has a one-price admission as it is a multi-faceted park - not just a ride park. Live entertainment abounds at the park with fun-filled shows and roving characters and performers. There are also a number of non-active rides, restaurants, shopping and Soak City Waterpark for guests to enjoy.

Yes, Valleyfair offers discounted admission to members of the Military; active, reserve or retired. Tickets can be purchased online and military affiliation is verified by signing into ID.me.Military discount tickets also may be purchased at any Valleyfair ticket booth on the day of your visit. Proof of service must be presented at the time of purchase.

You can have your tickets printed for you at any window of our Admissions Buildingprior to passing through the security screening. Please present your order confirmation number and a photo ID.

We are also able to scan the tickets directly off your mobile device as long as each ticket is presented. If you take screenshots of the tickets, be sure that each ticket on the order is saved.

If you made a mistake while purchasing tickets from valleyfair.com, we are typically able to refund the order (Exceptions include tickets for special events). Please repurchase the correct tickets and email the confirmation number that needs to be refunded and the new confirmation number to guestservices@valleyfair.com. If the tickets were not purchased directly from valleyfair.com we are unable to refund or replace them. Please contact the company you purchased the tickets from for more information about their refund policy and instructions.

Tickets from the current season that have expired are typically eligible to be surcharged. A nominal fee will be assessed, and the ticket will be made valid for a general public operating day during the same season. Please visit the Admissions Building, located outside the front gate, to apply the surcharge. We are unable to surcharge complimentary tickets or tickets from a previous season.

Your order confirmation number is contained in the email receipt that is sent to you after your purchase. If you are unable to locate that email or did not receive that email, pleasecontact our Guest Services team at guestservices@valleyfair.com or by phone at 952-445-7600.

Valleyfair sells gift cards in the park at Sweet!, Plaza Shopper, and Snoopy Boutique. They can be used anywhere in the park except locker rentals and arcade games.

Valleyfair does not issue refunds or exchanges on Daily Admission Tickets, Fast Lane/Fast Lane Plus, or drink and dining products. All the preceding products are non-refundable and non-exchangeable for any reason after the order transaction has been complete at the front gate, online, on the Valleyfair mobile app, or other authorized ticket seller. This includes weather-related events. We do not issue rainchecks. Please check the local weather conditions prior to planning your visit.

General Park Information

Yes, there is a charge for parking at Valleyfair.

Valleyfair also offers Preferred Parking which gives you access to prime parking near the admission gate. Only 100 spots are available daily and spots are taken on a first-come, first-serve basis.

There is NO CHARGE for parking if you dropping someone off or picking them up from the park. If you are dropping someone off or picking people up and will be in the parking lot for 30 minutes or less, you will not have to pay for parking. When you enter the parking lot a toll gate employee will take down your license plate number and record it with the make and model of your car and the time you came through the gate. This information will then be given to Valleyfair security, who will be patrolling the parking lot and making sure guests are not staying and parking without payment.

Some attractions may close in bad weather until conditions permit safe operation. Please enjoy a show, meal or shopping until such weather passes.

Valleyfair does not offer rainchecks or refunds in the event of inclement weather.

Reentry is permitted into the parking lot by presenting your original parking ticket or Season Pass.

Yes, Valleyfair admission is required to participate in the following additional charge attractions:

The safety of our guests and associates is our number one priority, and we have implemented several enhanced security procedures at all entrance gates. As part of the process:

  • Guests arriving at the park will go through metal detection every public operating day.
  • All bags, purses, backpacks, waist packs, etc. are subject to inspection prior to entering.
  • Sharp objects (including pocket knives and metal chains), firearms, or other items that could be considered a weapon are strictly prohibited and should be left at home or secured in your vehicle.
  • Please see our separate FAQ on outside food and beverages.
  • We use a variety of methods in securing our parks, including uniformed and plainclothes officers, and video surveillance monitoring.
  • Valleyfair does not tolerate guests who fight and/or harass other guests while on our property. People who engagethis behaviorare subject to being ejected and potentially banned from the park, and may be subject to arrest by local police.

If you leave the park and plan to return that day, please retain your ticket stub or receipt and get a re-entry ticket at the exit turnstile before leaving the park. Season passholders wishing to re-enter may use their Season Pass for re-entry and can leave through any exit turnstile. You must be able to present a re-entry ticket or valid Season Pass to gain re-entry to the park. Valleyfair only allows same-day re-entry to the park.

Yes, we have a limited number of lockers available throughout the park that vary in size.

  • Regular: Can fit 1-2 backpacks for $15
  • Large: Can fit 3-4 backpacks for $20
  • Jumbo: Can fit 5+ backpacks for $25

Locker rentals are for the entire day, and lockers can be opened and closed as many times as you would like throughout the day. Lockers in the waterpark must be cleared out by the time the waterpark closes for the day.

Valleyfair does not accept personal checks or foreign currency anywhere in the park.

Outside food, beverages (exception: water-see below), or coolers are not allowed to be brought into Valleyfair or Soak City Waterpark. Exceptions are made for Guests with special dietary needs, including food allergies, baby food, and formula. Guests with special dietary needs should stop at Guest Services located at the Front Gate when they arrive at the park.

Valleyfair allows guests to bring in one factory sealed bottle of water or empty water bottle per person. Then simply refill your water bottle throughout the day.

Valleyfair offers a wide variety of dining options at various restaurants and food vendors throughout the park. Groups looking for catering may contact Group Sales at 952-496-5331 or groupsales@valleyfair.com for delicious meal options available at our catered event location, Picnic Point, located near Steel Venom.

Wagons used as strollers are allowed, and Segways are allowed into the park after stopping into our Guest Services office and signing a waiver. All guests, bags, parcels and other items are subject to inspection, including metal detection or other screening measures.

Yes, free Wi-Fi is available throughout the park.

Sorry, pets are not allowed except for service animals. Kennels are not provided.

Smoking of any kind, including vapor and e-cigarettes, is not permitted inside Valleyfair. For the comfort of all guests, smoking is only permitted in the designated smoking areas just outside the park entrance gate. Please see an admissions associate for guidance.

Valleyfair has EMTs that staff our two First Aid Stations. First Aid is located across from the tall Breaker's Plunge waterslides. Additional first aid services for guests in Soak City are available at the Lifeguard Station. You can find these locations and your proximity to them on our app while in the park.

If you need any medical assistance during your visit, please notify the nearest park associate.

Minnesota State Law requires we do not give out medication to the general public. If you are in need of select over-the-counter medications, you can find them at The General Store, Snoopy’s Boutique, and Plaza Shopper.

We have a limited number of wheelchairs, electronic wheelchairs, and strollers available to rent for a fee at our Rentals Building, located at the front of the park to the right of the entrance fountain. Rentals are on a first-come, first-serve basis, with a limited number of wheelchairs available to rent ahead of time online. Guests are welcome to use their own wheelchairs and strollers in the park. Pricing can be seen on the rentals page.

We are strict and thorough in the steps we take and the processes we use to keep our properties safe and promote a healthy environment. To protect our guests and associates and prevent the spread of illness, we employ rigorous sanitation standards and robust cleaning procedures, including:

  • Extensive training for associates on maintaining a safe and hygienic workplace and environment for our guests
  • Appropriate personal protective clothing and gear for associates who are assigned for cleaning duties
  • Specified intervals for frequent cleaning and disinfection of targeted areas throughout the day
  • Procedures for cleaning and disinfection of areas throughout the day and where illness has been suspected or reported
  • Quick response to spills, trash, and other situations
  • Daily sanitation procedures, for everything from bathroom faucets and sinks to kitchen and dining surfaces, benches and trash cans
  • Daily cleaning and “wash down” of outdoors locations, including walkways and queue lines
  • Guest and associate first aid locations staffed with EMTs to assist with all types of minor and/or emergency health issues.

We maintain close relationships with local, state, national, and international public health authorities, and take their guidance when additional preventive measures are needed.

In the case of severe weather, the park has 16 clearly marked severe weather shelters located throughout the park. Park associates can direct visitors to the nearest shelter.

Pass Perk Information

Valleyfairs' Pass Perks Monthly Rewards Program is the next evolution of our popular loyalty program. A fresh selection of Pass Perks will appear each month on the Pass Perks page. You’ll see a brief description of the Perk and the number of times you need to visit the park to earn it. At the end of the month, your cumulative visit total earns you one or more Perks. Your visits reset on the first day of the month.

You earn Pass Perks according to the number of park visits you have accumulated by the end of each month. You get one visit per day. For example, if you visited FOUR times in one month, you receive the Perk that corresponds with FOUR visits. If you visited more than four times, you receive the Perk that corresponds with FOUR visits. We also plan on awarding surprise Perks throughout the season.

No. As soon as you purchase your Season Pass, you join Pass Perks. However, to stay up to date with your rewards, be sure to download the mobile app and add any Season Passes in your household. Otherwise, you may miss out on what you've earned.

Silver and Gold Passholders. Pre-K are excluded from earning Pass Perks.

Look in the Pass Perks section of our all-new mobile app or your Pass Portal dashboard. We may email you about a Perk you’ve earned (depending on the type of Perk), but the mobile app and dashboard are the best ways to locate your Perks.

Rewards you redeem inside the park—like sweets, treats and tickets —are automatically loaded to your Season Pass. Check your mobile app or Season Pass Portal to view all the details about your offer. You’ll see how long the offer is active and the exact locations where you can redeem it. Redeem your rewards by scanning your Season Pass where applicable.

Your earned Perks will have varied validity from the day they load to your Season Pass. Be sure to check the Perk description for an exact redemption date.

Monthly rewards you redeem inside the park will be loaded to your Season Pass at midnight on the last day of the month, to redeem for a set time the next month. In some cases, there can be a 24-48 hour delay.

Season Passholders can earn and redeem one Monthly Pass Perk per month.

Yes, with some exclusions depending on the offer. We will communicate this in the offer description. The disclaimer reads as “not combinable with other discounts or promotions.” Most Pass Perks do combine with other discounts for extra savings!

No. At this time, you can only earn and redeem perks at your home park. Scanning at a separately gated waterpark (if applicable) and the dry park on the same day will only count as one total visit.

At this time, you cannot exchange, gift, or transfer any Pass Perks Reward to another Passholder or non-Passholder. Your Perk is exclusive to you.
