What this site needs is a place for members to be able to upload NSFW videotutorials... of courseseparate from the main videos page
As the technology improves and people find new techniques, it would be GREAT if there was a place for them to share with other members. I am still working on my first fake, however,I am already looking outside of Deepfacelabs at other ways of dealing with occasional blur. I stopped after my first 30,000 iterations to run my data_srcimages through some Photoshop processingto get skin tones closer to the dst. That is a process I can't explain in words.
I'm sure there are a lot of little tips and tricks out there that would help everyone!!! And trying to explain some techniques with words, just adds confusion. Plus it would be another unique feature to attract people to this site

There are still many things this forum needs and new guides are definitely one of those things, we will be making a new quick start guide for newbies for DFL that should cover most of the stuff, there may be also some video tutorials as well as new improved FAQ/Tips thread with stuff like what you describe (other methods of improving fakes, outside of the tools DFL provides, post processing fakes/editing in video editing software, manual masking, ebsynth and dreamtime uses for making various fakes).
We just need some more time to make them

Awesome!!!! As a professional photographer, I am used to taking my time to create a beautiful piece of art. There are a lot of things I still don't understand about the deepfake process, but I am learning as I go. Definitely not rushing any part of the process. Which means, lots of stopping to correct and restarting the training... running my celeb faceset through Photoshop scripts to get the skintone as close as possible to the DST. I also ran the DST through color grading because it had a real yellow tone... Once trained and converted, I''l be cleaning some things on a frame by frame basis. It may be my first deepfake, but it is going to be a DAMN GOOD one. IDC how long it takes!!!

Could you share who are you faking? Also I'm not sure I would bother with fixing skin tones that much, DFL is pretty good at taking care of it, but of course it won't hurt to help it a bit, if your results will not satisfy you then there is always color transfer during training and two color match modes during conversion

18yo Ariana Grande. The biggest thing I was doing with photoshop was getting all of the different faces in the faceset normalized as they were all taken from different places with different lighting... while I was at it, figured it wouldn't hurt to run them all through 1 more script to get the skin tones a little closer to the DST. On my first start of training it was creating a kind of bright streak where the faces met guessing due to tonal differences, so just wanted to eliminate that. What I did a little differently that I DO like a lot is... 25,000 iterations with style power 10, then an additional 15,000 with a power of 5... before dropping down to 0.1. My first run was just a small 30 second clip... now retraining on full 7 min clip
