Radiant Photo is a newly released editing software that has been causing a stir among photography enthusiasts. Curious to know what all the fuss is about? Here’s my review, where I share my thoughts and first time exploring this new product.
Editor’s Note: Radiant Photo is a Photofocus partner.
Overview of Radiant Photo
Have you heard of Radiant Photo? It’s a software that’s been designed to make editing your photos super easy, fast and enjoyable, whether you’re a beginner or a pro.
One of the things I like the most about Radiant Photo is how easy it is to use. The interface is very user-friendly. For those who’ve never edited a photo before, you’ll be able to get started right away. Its powerful imaging engine recognizes the content of your photos and analyzes it to get the ideal starting point.
Radiant Photo has some really cool features, like customizable workspaces and nondestructive editing. This means you won’t mess up your original photo if you make a mistake. It naturally supports RAW image files, so you can edit your photos in their highest quality.
My First Impressions and Experience with the software
As I was exploring Radiant Photo, it pleasantly surprised me with its intuitive and modern interface. Its presets and filters library is extensive and diverse, making photo enhancement easy and quick. You can add a Smart Presets and Looks with a single click. You can even train your own Smart Preset to get exactly what you want to see.
The software provides a range of fine-tuned editing tools with the Quick Edit Controls. Radiant Photo’s Presets and Looks alone are worth checking out, and its advanced editing tools offer endless creative potential. It’s available as a stand-alone application or a plug in for Photoshop, Lightroom and PaintShop Pro.
I also personally think it’s pretty cool that this company is entirely owned and operated by photographers, just like me.
Radiant Photo has a lot of features and tools to choose from, making it great for photographers of all levels. One of my favorite standout feature is the “Smart Preset” that is automatically applied based on the scene. In the photo above, the only thing I did was to import the image in the software. Radiant Photo got 90% of the job done for me without having to move a single slider. I like how it automatically balanced the exposure and added a 3D depth to the scene.
Smart editing tools
If you need to tweak a little more your photo, the app offers great Smart Editing tools.
Radiant Tone
Automatically enhances all the details you want to show in your picture by creating a more balanced exposure.
Radiant Color
Fixes and restores saturation and colors. Every single pixel in the picture is checked one by one and changed or corrected as needed.
Radiant Detail
Automatically reduces noise (without blurring) and adds sharpening (without adding artifacts).
Radiant Portrait
Offers an automatic face detection to bring out the natural beauty of your subjects — with 20 user-friendly tools for complete control.
Finally, Radiant Photo offers a variety of special effects that can add a creative touch to your photos. From artistic filters to unique collages, there’s a lot of options to choose from. The special effects tools are fully customizable so you can make your photos truly your own.

Radiant support is absolutely terrible. I made a mistake when buying a license and needed help to fix it. No one ever replied to my support ticket. Photofocus finally got me some help – but there’s now a new problem with my license,. I’ve filled out multiple support tickets and no one EVER gets back to me
